This policy explains what Logical Software collects when you use PracticeNexa, why it is collected, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

• Account details — your name, email address, and any identifier your institution issues you, such as a roll number.
• Exam activity — the exams you are assigned, the answers you submit, your scores, and the time you spend on each attempt.
• Technical data — your IP address, browser and device details, and a record of when you sign in and out.
• Monitoring data, where your exam uses it — images or recordings from your camera, and a log of actions such as leaving the exam window. You are told before an exam whether it is monitored.

Why we collect it

• To give you access to the exams you are entitled to sit and to record your results.
• To let your examiner or institution assess your work.
• To keep exams fair, and to investigate an attempt when its integrity is questioned.
• To keep the service secure and to diagnose faults.

Who we share it with

Your results and attempt records are visible to the examiner or institution that assigned the exam. Where you pay for something, your payment is handled by our payment provider and we never store your card details. We do not sell your data, and we share it otherwise only where the law requires it.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your language choice. Blocking them will stop you from signing in.

How long we keep it

Account and result records are kept for as long as your institution needs them. Monitoring recordings are kept only for the limited period set for your exam and are then deleted.

Deleting your account

Students and examiners can delete their own account from their profile or account settings. Administrators are removed by a Super Admin instead, so that an institution cannot be left without one. When you ask, the account is locked immediately and deleted permanently after 30 days — sign in at any point in that window and everything is restored exactly as it was.

At that point we erase your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, address, photo, bank details, sign-in history and devices, and every camera recording, snapshot and identity photo held for you.

Two things survive, without your name against them. Exam results and answer sheets stay with the examiner or institution that set the exam, because the record of an assessment is theirs as well as yours and may be needed to defend a result. Payment and invoice records are kept for eight years, because tax law requires it and an invoice already issued cannot be rewritten. If you are an examiner, the exams, questions and student groups you created pass to your administrator and are closed to new attempts, so that the people who sat them keep their results.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Contact us and we will respond.
